In the leadup to the reopening of the new-look Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge under the Australia-based Baillie Lodges banner, the property has announced a partnership with Canadian wellness brand Beauty Through Balance (by Ancient Secrets Inc) for its popular Healing Grounds Spa. 

News of the new spa partnership comes as Baillie Lodges has also revealed a new Healing Grounds spa menu, complete with a range of marine and botanical-based treatments that draw on the wellness ingredients from the pristine natural environment of Vancouver Island’s magnificent Clayoquot Sound.

Based in Canada’s British Columbia, Beauty Through Balance is a spa line created by founder Sherina Jamal with the remarkable healing properties of Canadian glacial clay and evergreens as well as local Pacific seaweed as natural hero ingredients. The range of holistic spa treatments also exclusively uses sustainably raised, hand harvested products and embraces the wisdom of the region’s Indigenous healers along with the ground-breaking concept of Canadian Thalassotherapy, or healing from raw ocean elements.   

Set along Clayoquot Sound’s ocean shore, the Healing Grounds Spa features two treatment rooms, a waterfront massage tent, a yoga and meditation room, cedar hot tubs, a sauna and tranquil outdoor lounge space.
